Vanity of Vanities

Pastor Hal Farnsworth preached on Ecclesiastes
This last Sunday, and it really hit home.

Taking every thought captive to make it
Obedient to Christ is NOT just the name of
Richard Pratt's handbook for Christian apologetics.

Every moment of life that slips away so quickly
Cannot be regained, but is lost forever in the
Shifting and sinking sands of time as we are
Wasting away and forever forgotten by the rest;
Except that our purpose be connected by God
In Christ who is the beginning and end of time.

The middle times are timely placed by Himself.
And if we are in covenant joined to Jesus...
We are joined to the protagonist of all time.
Time belongs to Him, and we are joint heirs.
