A Long December

It's already been a long December
And there is reason to believe
Maybe this year will be better than the last.

You can't remember all the times
You've tried to tell yourself to

I guess the winter makes you laugh a little slower

About the things we wouldn't know but

It's back to Louisiana next week to see
Friends in my high school senior class
A blast from the past, the last time I saw them,
I threw my cap in the air and said see ya!
